The man responsible for the protection of millions of computers across the globe, is now seeking protection himeself.
Software pioneer John McAfee is wanted by Belize authorities in connection with the November 11 shooting death of his neighbor, 52-year-old Gregory Faull.
Officials say McAfee’s dogs caused consistent conflicts between him and Faull. After telling police that someone had poisoned his dogs, a former girlfriend of McAfee says he then shot each one of the four dogs in the head to put them out of their misery. McAfee then buried the dogs on his property.
Two days later, Faull was shot in the head in his own living room.
After a number of conversations, and calls through a middle man, McAfee agreed to an interview with CNN.
McAfee was asked if he’d killed Gregory Faull.
CNN Reporters also asked McAfee if he thought he was a smart man.
